The proposal

Hopefully you all watched the video from my first post, but I thought I would tell you all a little more about it! We went on our second annual trip to the charity concert at BR Cohn Winery in Sonoma County CA with a bunch of friends. It was such a great concert . . . Dave Mason, the Turtles, Robert Cray, Lara Johnston, and of course the Doobie Brothers!! Here is a few pics of the crew we were with:

M had the ring tucked away (safety pinned in his pocket, so that it would not be lost). At one point in the concert the boys went down and smoked cigars and M let them all in on his plans.

He got down on one knee and surprised Cat, asking her to marry him. At this point Cat kind of blanked out and has no real recollection of what was said, she dropped to her knees and hugged and kissed M over and over again. She was so surprised that M had to say "you haven't said yes ," to which she responded "of course I say yes!"

The crowd clapped and cheered and gave congratulations!! Somehow the VIP tent noticed the proposal as it was happening, and sent someone down with a couple glasses of champagne! What a perfect way celebrate! We hugged our friends, took some pictures and ran off to call the parents, although they all already knew!!

We did have Champagne here . . . not sure where those pics went!
