I am back from my honeymoon, but I figured I might be really busy, so I scheduled this one too. Hopefully I will be back to my regular blogging soon!
In the meantime . . . I thought I would share another set of gifts!! These I made from my Mom and Dad and my future in-laws plus M. I took pictures of the whole process so you could see how it was done.
First I printed out a letter I liked the look of on the computer, and then put it under the fabric so that I could trace it.
I traced it with a water soluble pen and put it is a tiny little hoop!!
Then I stitched. I used a chain stitch.
Finished G. This one is for M!!
I think this is such a sweet sentiment. It actually almost made M cry when I showed him what his Mom's said!!
And my Mommas!!!
Sweet huh?? I think I am going to wait to give them these on the day of the wedding. So I am wondering if I need to have something for them to open at the rehearsal?? I guess it is too late to get advice from you guys!! I guess I will see what I come up with!!

I am absolutely in love with this idea! I think I may borrow it :)
Any advice on how to accomplish that chain stitch?
I thought it was a fun idea . . . plus I needed Marshall's during the ceremony, so I am glad he had it!
As for the chain stitch, I googled it and followed a video on how to do it. It is really simple. And with the monograms being so small it really was not a super daunting task!
I just googled it and tried it out, now I am definitely stealing this idea from you! Can I re-post this???
of course!!!
Thank you so much for sharing! I'm inspired to try this now!
Glad you like it! It really is super easy. Plus if you are looking for cheap hankies (especially if you are making a bunch) . . . https://bumblebeelinens.com/
Which hanky set did you order?? Oh and also where did you get the hoop?
I posted about this today :)
Wow super awesome! You are a star. I may be stealing the idea too if you don't mind too much?!
Of course you can steal it!! Isn't that why we all share on our blogs anyway??
Tis only polite to ask! If I get my practicalness on and it looks half as good as yours I will make sure I link to you on my blog!
Well you are much more polite than me!!
Bridechka . . . the hankies I bought were Wedding Handkerchiefs - Set E and Men's Handkerchiefs with Satin Stripes. I thought I was going to use more of the "girl" ones, so I have a couple extra if you wanted to take them off my hands. And the little hoop is just from Joanns!
omg, I just cried!
AND I was right in the middle of writing a post about wheat..I found something a little different but blogger is having issues. will post soon.
okay, still crying.
