Dress Appt #1

I finally told you my plans for my dress. I am just going to post all the pictures from my appointments because I am not really sure how to choose which ones to show you. For my first appointment Sara had made a very simple, too short, base pattern. It is made out of muslin, which is like the cheapest fabric you can buy, and Sara is using to to make a pattern for my actual dress. It is pretty amazing how fast you can start to see "My Dress."
Doesn't look like much.
My name in sharpie on my butt . . . awesome.
Black bra . . . ok I learned my lesson . . . wont do that any more
Fixing the waistline

Why am I always making faces like this??? Cutting my neckline while I am in the dress.
Cutting the backline.
Wow that black bra looks great! Here we were looking at two different strap options . . . a wider strap or a spaghetti.

Measuring the hem.
The first dress!

So . . . starting to come along . . . I think it is going to be super pretty!

That's really cool to "watch"! I can't wait to see how it comes out.

Such a fun process! I definitely can't wait to see how it evolves.
