1 Month!!!!

Oh My God!!! One month???? Seriously?!? You have seen my to do list, is there time to get the rest of that done?? I am getting a bit nervous about that. Oh well. We shall see I guess. I did take a trip to Oregon over the 4th of July weekend, I will share lots of pictures later. For now . . . M and Me in my mom's garden.

My beautiful furture Mother-in-Law

I went to Missouri a couple weeks ago for my college roommates wedding (I will share some pictures next week). On the Sunday following the wedding I went shopping with my future Mother-in-Law and my future Grandmother-in-Law. My future Sister-in-Law was also supposed to join, but she ended up having to work. Anyway . . . it was such a fun trip. The two women cracked me up all day, sharing stories (some I cannot even share with my fiance'), picking on each other, just general merriment! People who have problems with their MILs are missing out. Mine is such a mom, and so sweet, and just all around wonderful!! Plus I think we found her a really nice dress. She is tiny, so I new everything would fit, but she was just a little worried about showing off the right assets and hiding some others. Anyway . . . here it is!

I heard from both her husband as well as the future SIL that she was just so excited about her dress. Just giddy and smiling. I am so glad we found her something that she is so comfortable in!

Here is the newest to do list update. I am glad to see things coming along, although a bit more got added!!

1. Finalize Transportation
2. Finalize Flowers (bouquets and boutonnieres, potted plants for centerpieces-planted!)
3. Extra Long Petticoat (we bought one on sale, but it is way too short, let me know if you would like to buy it!!)

Dress Appt #3

Onto my third dress appointment . . . this is the first time my mom wasn't able to come along . . . so my Maid of Honors Mom came along instead. She and my mom are how I met Sara in the first place, so everyone already new each other. There we are few confused brides at the shop though . . . the Hawaiian Mama (my MOH Mom) didn't look very much like the tall white girl (me!). Fun times. Here are the fun pictures.
You can see some other brides in for alterations . . . yay for "bridal season!" One of the poor girls that came in apparently now hates her dress . . . I cannot even imagine, what a horrible nightmare! I guess that really can't happen to me at this point . . . I have gotten to decide every feature of my dress!
We finalized the neckline and fixed the straps a bit. I keep getting more and more excited every fitting. (you can see another bride in the background - she loved her dress!)

Mother's Day Present

This is a little bit old, but thought I would still share. I made a book of our engagement photos for both my Mom and M's Mom for Mother's Day. Apparently it made M's Mom cry, and my Mom showed it to just about everyone she knew. I guess they like it!! My favorite on the cover of course!
Look how good I was at getting my ring in the photo . . . actually that was an accident!

Beautiful ties

Just thought I would share another small detail . . . the groomsmen and groom ties. I can't believe how many ugly ties still exist in this world, but I think we found some pretty cute ones. We had to go to three different Kohl's to get them all, annoying, but well worth it!

M's is the one that is a little bit different, because he gets to be special on that day too! Ha! I think they will look really nice with the tan suits!! Lovely!

My First Wedding Nightmare

I had my first wedding nightmare!!! It wasn't super horrible, but I was crying and everything kept getting lost, or at least left someplace else. Like my engagement ring was left in my room, and I sent someone to go get it, but she brought back the wrong one . . . oh well . . . I can only imagine what else I will dream about. Normally I don't remember my dreams but maybe I will start writing them down so I can tell you about my craziness!!
